"It's not a joke." said the one 1 expected to be the leader, "We are just laughing because Susan" and she stopped to show me who the girl was, "stole Sarah Stevenson's old teddy bear and now we are waiting to see her reaction."

I was shocked. The girl couldn't stop smiling, probably expecting me to think that was funny. Standing right next to her was the teddy bear she was talking about. It would be an adorable teddy bear if it was a little bit younger and a lot better kept. It had a missing eye and a damaged ear, it was probably missing a lot of stuffing too because it was too thin for a regular teddy bear. The tiny bear had a discolored red shirt with the letters BILL Y on it. Once that was a beautiful teddy bear.

"Why?" 1 asked finally noticing that I kept quiet for at least 3 minutes.

"Because it's funny" she answered naturally "maybe that way she will realize how old that thing is."

All girls started laughing again, this time louder and I didn't take much time to discover why. The adorable blond girl had now noticed her teddy bear was gone and started looking for it. I couldn't see why that was funny.

The beautiful girl had her eyes full of tears and they thought that was funny. I had never seen that before. Knowing me you would probably think I should have seen everything, from tragedies to mirac1es, and I have, but that situation was totally new to me. I had to do something. So I did.

Suddenly the young beautiful girl they called Sarah saw her teddy bear lying on the grass between the leader and another girl and without thinking twice went to its direction. Too late, they saw she was coming.

"That's not funny, Lydia!" she yelled "Give Billy back to me now."
